Our historic original costumes and detailed replicas are true treasures. Our collection covers all major eras in the history of dress. You will find everyday clothing and shoes, eveningwear and accessories, evening dresses and headgear. Our costumes range from Stone Age loincloths through Rococo ball gowns to Thierry Mugler's suits from the 1990s. Over many decades, generations of Theaterkunst staff have carefully collected and maintained our current pieces. Therefore a complete, authentic stock of garments has emerged from the post-war period. Your productions will benefit from the attention with which we have worked for over a century - our support offers a production style true to history. And if we cannot deliver a special item right off the rack, we will reconstruct it for you. For this purpose, we consult our historical library and our image archive for the design.
